Portable Swing Set Rig

It’s Finally Here! 

Aerial Animation has just opened the door to a world of possibility. We now have our very own freestanding aerial rig. This means we can perform just about anywhere! 

 Complete with aerial rigging, projector and screen we are now ready to share our story with a whole new audience. We will be able to perform at fairs, festivals, schools, hospitals and private parties. I’m excited to see where we go!

We tested the waters with a performance for Feral Change at American Steel Studios in our hometown of Oakland, CA. Between the fashion show “cat walk” and the tasty local Napa Valley wine, the fundraiser was a great success raising money and finding new homes for several furry felines.

The grand appearance of the rig enticed the attendees to stick around and see what was in store. We ended the night with a well-received performance and felt warmly welcomed into a new community of talented artists and creators.

I would like to give a shout out to the awesome crew who volunteered their time and strength to help setup the rig for the first time. Check out the photos we took from our practice run. Standing 19ft 4in tall it was no small task to learn the ropes of setting up and taking down this baby. Now that we are familiar with every nut and bolt it will only get smoother and smoother.
